Hello world!

Hi there.  This is my first venture into blogging on WordPress, but I'm thinking it's a little more universal and easily seen than some of the other social networking sites I've dabbled in.  I'm going to kick the tires and see what I can do to trick this site and and jazz it up graphics-wise.
