Cygnet - level 85!

Finally maxed out this morning and got my worgen warlock, Cygnet on the Whisperwind server to level 85.  She put on some new gear, did the Tol'Barad dailies, and ran her first heroic instance, in which she died twice.  She also got to honored status with her guild.

Cygnet - level 84

One to go!

Killed a few bosses in heroic Icecrown Citadel, and only one normal Cataclysm dungeon to go.  I topped out in mining and took first aid up over 500 in one sitting. Should hit 85 tomorrow!

Finally killed that damn shark in Stormwind harbor!

Cygnet - level 82

Cygnet, my worgen warlock on Whisperwind US, has done Blackrock Caverns, Throne of Tides, and Stonecore a few times now, and is working in Deepholm.  She's going pretty fast toward 85 with a combination of questing and the dungeon finder.  I don't plan on doing any heroics with her until I have the entire core set of basics down.  I'm still very intimidated by the idea of Deadmines and Shadowfang keep, as you're just kind of thrown in and expected to know what's going on at heroic difficulty.  And soon we'll have Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman back as heroic five-mans with the same pressure.  I do like that they're adding some progression with 5-man content, though, so it's not all about raiding.  ZG and ZA will only be accessible when you have gear from the other heroics, so it should be all good.

Cygnet - level 80

Cygnet has finally gotten to level 80 and entered the Cataclysm content.

After just a little while in the newer content, look at how much her stats improved with some greens from Hyjal and 2 blues from her first instance run. Not bad!

Cygnet - level 76

Explored all of Outland and Northrend - working on mining and archeology. 9 levels to go and she tops out!

Cygnet - level 73

I reached level 73 this morning, and bought my new little worgen warlock her epic flying, so now I can start pounding on archeology. I didn't want to do it at the slower speed, and I won;t have 4000 gold to buy the very fastest for a while, so this looks like a good time to do it.

I also topped off my last Alliance reputation to exalted, and achieved the Ambassador title.  This also opens up all the mounts to me, so that's fun as well.  If I want to go back and do the Argent Tournament, I already have all the rep in place now for the Crusader title.

Had a very bad tank/healer combo in a run this morning.  They were both from the same guild, and I suspect they were multi-boxing, and may have been the same person. They just sat at the entrance and refused to participate. One of the DPS got mad and left, so we didn't have enough votes to kick them, as one always voted against for the other person.  We could add more, and they wouldn't leave.  There were some weird characters in their names, but I finally was able to add them to ignore by whispering them and then clicking on their names. Now, they won't end up in any groups with me again.  I also reported them, which is something I almost never do, but they were deliberately abusing the dungeon finder, so this was a special occasion. Stupid people.

Cygnet - level 72

My new worgen warlock on Whisperwind, Cygnet, is now level 72, and has Seed of Corruption, as if her AOE damage wasn't good enough.  She's topping the meters in the Wrath dungeons, but I know she's slow down a bit when she gets into the Cataclysm set.  Can't wait to get Demonic Circle back at level 78!

Cygnet - level 70

My new worgen warlock on Whisperwind has reached level 70 and is digging into Northrend.  She got her 31 point talent, Metamorphosis, and cold-weather flying. Woot!

Cygnet - level 61

More screenshots!  Cygnet, my worgen warlock on Whisperwind, is level 61, and has crossed through the Dark Portal.  She's gotten some legacy PvP gear and a flyinh mount.

Love is in the Air

Cygnet hit level 55 this morning and scored the Lovely Black Dress in the basket for the Love is in the Air event.

Cygnet - level 54

Cygnet, my new worgen warlock on Whisperwind, is now level 54. She's done all the classic dungeons except LBRS, which should come up in the next few days, and she'll get the Classic Dungeonmaster achievement.  She's also run some battlegrounds and done quite well.  When she hits 60, she'll have enough honor to buy a few epic goodies that will carry her for a few levels.

Outland dungeons and flying are on the horizon!

Felstorm! Cygnet - level 46

I was doing a Dire Maul run on my new worgen warlock this morning when I dinged level 45.  On my Felguard's action bar, Felstorm appeared!  I've been waiting for this one for a long time now, as I use it all the time for AOEing large groups.  I'm still wanting Metamorphosis back, but that will come soon.

Had some really strange tanks lately.  A few genuinely crappy ones, and some very picky ones.  I got yelled at for my pet chasing down runners from large groups in Stratholm.  I think he was just jealous because my pet was better at holding aggro than he was.

It's fun now that Scholo and Strat are accessible in the 40s.  I missed those the last time I leveled, because they were high 50s, and I skipped them to go right to Outland dungeons.  I'm closing in on the Classic Dungeonmaster achievement, and this toon is not even 2 weeks old yet.  Very strange seeing some of the old zones that were upper 50 content now down to 30s and 40s.

I'm exalted with Gilneas, Stormwind and Darnassus from the dungeon tabards.  I bought a bunch nightsaber mounts, which I really like.  By the time I'm 60, I should get all six alliance reps finished and get the ambassador title.  When I get a flying mount, I'll probably do some archeology to bump my levels a bit while waiting for Outland dungeons to pop.  The dungeon finder is still moving pretty fast - about 5 to 15 minutes waiting time as DPS.

Cygnet is on the Whisperwind server, and is currently level 46, at 13 days old.

Cygnet - level 41

My new worgen warlock on Whisperwind, Cygnet, is level 41 and climbing. I've leveling almost entirely with the dungeon finder, and it's been a lot of fun seeing all the new changes.  The level changes for some of these places are fun - I can do Scholomance at level 41, but not Zul-Farak!  My wait time for dungeons is about 6 to 15 minutes, which has been better than my experience at 85.

Most of what the worgen has is cosmetic, but it's just fun to play.  Running Wild (you are your own mount) and the Two Forms is a blast.  I really like the goblin, too, but I think I didn't enjoy all the heirlooms and hand-me-downs I have.  For me, it's been a lot more fun starting fresh on a new server and building up from nothing.

I'm missing a lot of my key spells I've been used to on my warlocks - summoning, howl of terror, demonic circle, metamorphosis - but I'll be getting them back very soon!

Cygnet - level 33

My new Worgen warlock, Cygnet on Whisperwind, is now level 33, having come up almost entirely in dungeons. Very fast, and she's gotten some pretty good gear - almost entirely in blues.  About the only quests I do are the cooking and fishing dailies in Stormwind.  I'm thinking when I get her to 60 and get flying, I might just putter around in the old world doing archeology to level while doing some Outland dungeons.

Cygnet - level 22

My new Worgen, Cygnet, finished the morning at level 22.  I found a guild to get some of the perks while leveling, and she's picked up some dungeon blues.  I've been mostly using the dungeon finder for leveling, as I prefer the group runs over questing, but I've heard that doing the quests will actually accumulate experience faster.  I'm not sure, but I'm having fun carving out an existence on a new server.  I had to buy a few bags, and glyphs are out of my price range at the moment, so I'm going to have to be very economical with what I buy.

Worgen on Whisperwind!

I rolled up a new Worgen Warlock on the Whisperwind server named Cygnet the other day, and went through the whole Gilneas storyline, and it was fun, but I think the Goblin newbie area was a tad more epic.  It's a fun character, though, and it was nice to get a view from the Alliance perspective of all the changes in Cataclysm.

I did a few Warsong Gultches, and then ran Ragefire Chasm and Deadmines, bringing her up to level 17 with quite a few blue items.

This character is very different than my goblin, in that I have no other toons on this server, so no experience boost from heirlooms, and no bags or gold, so it's a very fresh start.  I need to find a leveling guild so I can get the perks from that.

Going to keep going with this one for a while!
