I ran Wintergrasp again this morning on Steamwheedle Cartel, and it was an off-attempt. The Horde must have been asleep, because not only were we not defending, but we failed to take the keep back. We had some pretty good tenacity going for a while, and I did okay, but not spectacular.
After the battle, I checked my Wintergrasp marks and honor totals, and noticed I was still sitting at 75,000 honor. Hmmm, that's not good. A quick check elsewhere conformed that there is indeed a number cap on honor, and that number is 75,000. Frak! Time to go shopping!
I bought a new hood, which was only a slight upgrade from a level 200 item to a level 213 item. I also had to spend some gold on new gems and a new enchant for it, but oh, well. I didn't have quite enough for another item, but at least I can gain honor again. May go for the shoulders next, or perhaps a belt or bracers.
I really don't like that there are no weapons available for PvP points in Wrath.I don't want to do arenas, and I'd like to keep PvPing, but it seems like they're not rewarding those who just enjoy battlegrounds and Wintergrasp as much as arena players.
Lovely tasty gems only 10k each.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'll have to look more into those as well. I got my to-hit maxed out, and have been working on spell hit and crit.
