Fail Night

Well, as good as Monday was, last night was the complete opposite - a total bust.

I started out watching trade and saw 2 ICC 25 groups forming.  I whispered one, and he told me to wait a minute.  He came back with "Your wow-heroes profile shows you with PvP gear, can I come to Dalaran and inspect you?"  I told him to forget it.  My stuff is way higher than any PvE that would be in it's place, so it seemed a little stupid to me.  It boosts my DPS regardless of resilience.

I whispered the second guy and he asked me what my gearscore and spec was.  I told him 5400 demonology, and he immediately invited.  I headed over to ICC and got inside with everyone else.  About 45 minutes my invite, we're almost full, getting buffed up with only one slot left to fill.  Suddenly, I'm removed from the raid and have to run out before I get sent to the graveyard.  I whisper the leader about it, and he says one of his assistants removed me, and he doesn't know why, but the spot had been filled.  It looks like I got kicked to make room for someone's friend, so I was kind of pissed that they wasted so much of my time that I could have spent doing something else, and it was done without a word.  About half an hour later, I did a ".who icecrown citadel" and the guy or the other warlock I had been talking to wasn't there, so it must have been a fail group that fell apart.

Wintergrasp was up, so I did that, and a VoA 25 started forming afterward, so I got into that.  We were slow to fill, and at about 20 people the leader says, "doesn't look like it's going to happen" and leaves, followed by several others.  One guy had laid a fish feast down already, so we were all bummed.

I went and finished the Outland fires to get the Flame Warden achievement, as I didn't have to depend on anyone else to do that.

A very frustrating night after last Monday went so well.  I guess I had just gotten really lucky, or last night was very unlucky.  I wish I remembered the leader's name from Monday.  The guy last night was some variant of Nero, with some odd accent marks.

Saturday's guild run of Naxx 10 has been changed to Ulduar 10, so I'm looking forward to that.
