Today was just about perfect here. Trish really outdid herself with the food, the kids all helped clean up and set things up, and my folks and Trish's mom came by. My dad just turned 91 and still rides his scooter quite a ways to the bowling alley every week, so I can only hope to stay as fit and active as he is. The only person missing from the table was my youngest, Max, but we're having a make up dinner with him when he gets back to town this weekend.
The weather here was absolutely amazing. A sunny afternoon with not a cloud in the sky and the perfect temperature made for a great afternoon nap in the hammock in the backyard. The windows are open tonight, and it's cool, dry, and comfortable. Couldn't ask for better.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there, and I'mm looking forward to an extended weekend off from the day job to focus on other things for a bit.
