Mid-week Ramblings
So, with all the chaos going on with the server problems and the fire festival, my normal routine has been pretty much blown to hell the past few days. Here's what I've been doing:
One of the servers I've been able to get back on is Proudmoore, where I spent my first year in the game, right after launch. My high level toons have long since been shuffled off there to Steamwheedle Cartel, but I have a newbie undead warlock there with a name I grabbed on launch day - Rigor. How cool is that for a forsaken? I piddled around in the starter zone for a while, and eventually made my way to Orgrimmar. I stopped by the fire festival, and did some torch tossing & juggling, and was immediately reminded of how cool this is. It gives a ton of XP! I'm going to park all of my low level alts near the fires and hammer this out every day. Awesome!
I also did it on my human death knight on Proudmoore, Kandanie. That was my original warlock there, who left after a bunch of guild drama and is now Fairchild on SWC. It really fits, as Kandanie has been reborn as the same character, but a new class after a few years beyond the grave. From a clothie to a being decked out in full plate. I probably won't do much with her, but it was fun just nudging her a little bit further along than being fresh out of the starter zone.
Hopefully we'll have more stable servers today!
Update! Servers were fine around lunchtime. My human warlock Fairchild got the Frostscythe in her bag, and my undead 'lock Skulfrak got the Deathfrost enchantment formula.
